In a oxidation resistance test, the following elements are measured :

• Weight gain
• Dimensions variation
• Volume variation

For the weight gain : our results are always inferior to 1%.

Example : Test carried out on a standard size brick of HCS 90 quality.

Haasser bricks have an excellent oxidation resistance. The various tests carried out in accordance with the ASTM C 863 norm during 500 hours at a 1000°C temperature reveal an oxidation expressed by an average weight gain of 1%. This is a very low oxidation.
